Organic Weed Strategy:
Step 1: Build Lawn Health Strong, thick grass is your best weed prevention. Follow the complete organic fertiliser system consistently for 6-12 months. You'll notice dramatic weed reduction as lawn thickens.
Step 2: Hand-Remove Major Offenders For large individual weeds (dandelions, bindii, etc.), hand-pull or dig out. This is easier than you think for scattered weeds.
Step 3: Accept Minor Weed Presence A lawn with 5-10% clover or other low weeds is still beautiful and actually beneficial (clover fixes nitrogen!). Perfect monoculture lawns require harsh chemicals we don't recommend.
Step 4: Overseed Thin Areas Bare spots invite weeds. Overseed with couch grass in spring/autumn. Keep newly seeded areas consistently moist and fertilise with diluted organic products.
What We Don't Recommend: Synthetic "weed and feed" products. They kill beneficial organisms, contaminate soil, and create dependency. They're also not safe for children or pets.
Yellowing Grass
