Remineralises your soil - vitamin for your soil so that you can ditch shop-bought supplements

10 kg treats up to 40sqm

Apply :

  • At planting (mix into soil)
  • First flower/budburst (sprinkle on top water in )
  • Before ripening (sprinkle on top water in )
  • Plants showing signs of nutrient deficiency (yellowing, interveinal chlorosis)
  • Seasonal 

  • Veggie Patch & Flower beds: Apply 1-2 heaped handfuls per sqm into the top 5-10cm of soil.
  • Individual seedlings add 1 tablespoon per seedling into the top 5-10cm
  • Fruit Trees Mix 1 -2 kg into the hole and mix with some quality compost
  • Established trees: 1-2 heaped handfuls around the drip line of the tress
  • Container and Pots : Mix 1/2 - 1 cup in to every 20lt of potting mix
  • Natives: apply 1 handful per sqm
  • Green Manure crops Apply liberally into the top 5-10cm when seeding and turning in green manure crops

    Always water in well with every application
    For anything struggling double the application rate on the above reccommendations

VOLCANIC BASALT DUST
• This is a finely ground rock meal that contains over 60 mineral elements and is the foundation
ingredient of the product. The fine powder has a huge surface area that allows bacteria to colonize
and make the minerals available to the soil system
ZEOLITE
• Also a volcanic rock, Zeolite has a unique microstructure that allows it to hold more than 55% of it
weight in water. It also acts as a store house for nutrients and refuge for microbes.
SPONGOLITE
• This is a rock comprised of fossilized sponges. It is 99% pure silicon. It also has a unique honeycomb
structure that absorbs more than 50% of its weight in water. Holds nutrients and houses microbes.
BENTONITE
• This is a clay with a large cation exchange capacity (CEC). It holds water, nutrients and builds
structure in the soil. It also helps with non-wettings sands.
HUMALITE
• This is pulverized leonardite (a pre-coal material). It is very high in humic and fulvic acids. It is
almost pure carbon and stimulates microbes among many other things.
ROCK PHOSPHATE
• Crushed and pulverized Apatite. This is the organic form of phosphate. It is non-leaching and
completely safe for waterways.
POTASSIUM SULPHATE
• Also known as sulphate of potash. Potassium is needed for all plants - especially those that bear
fruit.
DOLOMITE
• Carbonate rock that supplies both calcium and magnesium. Reduces acidity.
LIME
• Carbonate rock that supplies calcium. Reduces acidity.
GYPSUM
• Calcium sulphate. Supplies calcium and builds structure in clay soils.
MANGANESE SULPHATE
ZINC SULPHATE
COPPER SULPHATE
BORON
• These are all trace elements needed for critical plant growth functions. They are essential but only
needed in tiny amounts
SEAWEED EXTRACT
• Stimulates microbes and installs immunity to pest and disease into the plant.

• Almost pure protein. This feeds microbes directly and provides some nitrogen
MOLASSES
• This is simply a complex sugar that provides instant energy for all soil
microbes

Most of the food grown today is lacking in many minerals that are critical for human health. The use of the NPK farming system has strip-mined all of the trace minerals out of the food supply.

Unlike most parts of the world, Australia hasn’t had the benefit of having glaciers grind rock into fresh soil. Australian soils for the most part are very poor and lacking true minerals that are needed to provide a variety of nutrients to sustain plant growth.

Rock dust is made from finely crushed volcanic rock such as basalt dust which releases a wide range of minerals and trace elements to boost the organic fertility of soil and compost to help grow higher yields, healthier fruits vegetables, flowers, trees, natives, lawns and indoor plants.

What you must know is that while minerals in plain basalt dust will eventually become available to plants, the timeframe depends on several factors:

Mineral type:

  • Primary minerals: These break down slowly, taking years to decades to be accessible to plants.
  • Secondary minerals: These are already somewhat decomposed and can be used within months to years.

Factors affecting breakdown:

  • Particle size: Finer dust with greater surface area becomes available faster, which is why our Nutrient Rock Star is a fine dust at 2mm and under
  • Soil pH: Acidic soils (lower pH) accelerate mineral breakdown.
  • Soil temperature and moisture: Warmer, moist conditions promote microbial activity, which aids in mineral breakdown.
  • Microbial activity: Microbes help break down minerals, so healthy soil with diverse microbes will see faster release.
